Third attempt in designing my Broomstick Lace Butterfly

A little obsessed with wanting a good
Broomstick Lace Butterfly.
Here is my 3rd attempt and I feel I am definitely
on the right track!!  :)
Here are my 3 attempts in order.
Have a great day and weekend!!!
Hopefully tatting will rule!!!  :)

Nice trials !
Can you perhaps make 4 clusters (as in 1st attempt) - 2 long, 2 shorter, and join them to the outermost curve of each wing ? It will give a lacier filling to each wing. Just a thought.
Eager to see it progress ...

I meant diagonally, not horizontally, if that helps

I think I understand your suggestion. I think that is what I originally was thinking, but I am trying to keep the broomstick lace look. I will try it and see. :) Thanks so much for your imput muskaan!!! I value the opinions and suggestions of all the tatters who have been doing this longer than me!!! :)

That is an interesting concept! I haven't done broomstick lace in years. I never would have thought of combining it with tatting. I can hardly wait to see what you design next!

You've set yourself a hard task! Looks as though you're making good progress on it.

I'm impressed. One learns from each effort. Thanks for sharing your progression with us. I look forward to seeing it develop until you have just what you are looking for.

I like your butterfly. But, I also like the smaller one in the center. After all, not all butterflies have large wings.

Thank you both!! :)
